Welcome to the inaugural
"ncRNAs in Viral Disease" Symposium
Accelerating Research in ncRNA BiologyThe inaugural Noncoding RNAs in Viral Disease symposium features 11 renowned speakers focused on diverse aspects of RNA biology, with a special emphasis on noncoding RNAs functioning at the virus-host interface. Topics include transcriptional regulation, RNA processing, RNA modification, RNA structure, noncoding RNA functions, and the contribution of noncoding RNAs to virus infection and disease. Through a stimulating, discussion-oriented format, the symposium will provide a warm and highly interactive atmosphere to facilitate discussions into new concepts in RNA biology. The setting for this first-of-its-kind meeting will be the beautifully restored Hotel Peter and Paul in the historic Faubourg Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. |
This symposium is being held in conjunction with the External Advisory Board meeting for the UF/Tulane NCI-funded program project P01CA214091, entitled: “Noncoding RNAs in gammaherpesvirus biology and AIDS malignancies”.
